VIPER EZDOSE
Pan & Drain Line Maintenance System
Invented by an HVAC technician for HVAC professionals, Viper EZDoseâ„¢ is a complete pan and drain treatment dispensing system that prevents the buildup of Zoogloea bacteria, mold and mildew that can damage A/C systems. It protects against water leaks and overflows caused by drain line restrictions and clogs.
The manual design puts fluid volume and timing fully in the technician’s control, with no apps, no connectivity issues and nothing to malfunction between visits. The result? Fewer callbacks, cleaner systems and a built-in foundation for recurring service contracts, all powered by the only NSF-registered, Kosher-certified pan and drain treatment fluid on the market, available through standard distribution so technicians always have flexible, uninterrupted access to refills without added hassle.

VIDEO & DIRECTIONS
Before You Begin
- Turn off power to the unit at the breaker.
- Remove the access panel to expose the evaporator coil and drain pan.
- Inspect for damage, leaks, or oil residue. Repair as needed.
- Check the air filter and replace if necessary.
- Clean the evaporator coil using a non-corrosive cleaner such as:
- Viper EVAP+ (RT350G)
- Venom Pack Evaporator (RT320V)
- Viper Aerosol (RT375A)
- Rinse the coil and drain pan with water. Remove all debris and buildup. Confirm proper drainage with no restriction.
Installation
- Select the appropriate fittings and plan your EZDose maintenance system routing. Ensure your plan supports even fluid distribution across the drain pan.
- Measure and cut tubing to match your routing plan.
- Drill through the coil cabinet using the included step drill. Install the grommet. Avoid the coil, wiring, and internal components.
- Connect tubing to fittings. Use magnetic clips to secure tubing to metal surfaces where needed.
- Route tubing through the grommet and attach to the reservoir valve. Ensure a secure push-fit connection.
- Temporarily position the reservoir. Install the quick-connect valve by pressing firmly into the reservoir port.
- Fill the reservoir halfway with water. Open the valve to verify flow, check for leaks, and confirm proper distribution.
- Reinstall the access panel and clean the surface for mounting.
Mounting the Reservoir
- Mount the reservoir using one of the following methods:
- Attach directly to the unit using built-in magnets, or
- Mount nearby using the included drywall anchors
Charging & Operation
- Fill the reservoir with Viper Pan & Drain Treatment (RT800S / RT800G) and secure the lid.
- Dispense 4 oz of fluid, then fully close the valve.
- Leave the system off for at least 5 minutes to allow full surface coverage.
- Restore power to the unit.
Treatment Procedures and Maintenance Schedule
- Before adding treatment to the unit, ensure the A/C and fan are not running.
- Recommended Treatment Volume
- 4 oz monthly for problem drain lines*
- 8 oz every three months for standard maintenance*
* Amounts can vary by system. Have your unit inspected by a licensed HAVC professional.
- Establish a routine maintenance and inspection schedule to verify performance.
