The Checkmate method is the Industries only valid field test for a quick
and accurate determination of contaminant levels in Oil and Refrigerant.

The Oil Detector Tube
Part Number: RT752C

Using the Checkmate device, a drop of oil can be milked off the suction
side of a system. The Oil will be seen wetting through the Detector
Tubes' Transfer Agent. As the Oil passes through the Transfer Agent a
dye fraction will release and stain the Indicator Segment.
The color captured by in the Indicator is compared against a color chart.


The soft colors indicate low Oil conductivity progressing stepwise to the
stronger colors of highly conductive Oil. . Hence, the full range of Oil
contaminants are determined by dielectric strength.

Refrigerant Gas Analysis

The Acid and Moisture level of refrigerant gas are measured independently.
Knowing the purity of Refrigerant is vital information for every service
technician. The technician needs to know if the refrigerant can be
(1) immediately reused, (2) needs to be cleaned-up, (3) contaminated beyond
reclaiming capabilities, (4) or failed to be properly cleaned during a reclaiming process.
In System Diagnostics, the tests result obtained by the Oil Detector Tube can be
correlated to the findings of the Refrigerant examination, or visa versa.

The Detector Tube results for Refrigerant testing are displayed in parts per million (ppm)
